Times tables practice with Apple Intelligence tips, voice input, and a visual multiplication grid — private by design.
After every practice round, the app uses FoundationModels to select the most fitting learning tip and practice recommendation for each child — personalized error analysis included, drawn from a curated, pedagogically reviewed library of 1,200+ texts. All processing happens on device; nothing ever leaves it. On devices without Apple Intelligence, the app falls back gracefully to rule-based selection — no child is locked out. With Apple Intelligence, the tip choice simply gets more contextual.
Built entirely with Apple frameworks. Zero third-party dependencies.
"Seven times eight?" — "56!"
Kids speak their answers instead of typing them — speech recognition in 11 languages via Apple's Speech framework, on iPhone and iPad.
New in v2.5: seven spoken commands control the whole session without touching the screen. Say "pause", "repeat", "skip" or "I don't know" — each command is confirmed with a short audio acknowledgment, so children always know they were heard.
Questions are read aloud too, making practice fully eyes-up: a natural fit for early readers and for kids who learn best by listening.
An animated grid teaches multiplication as repeated addition, not memorization: after each correct answer, rows light up green one by one — 3 × 5 builds as 5, 10, 15, ending in exactly 15 green fields.
The final picture shows the product as a quantity — a true array model, the same representation used in classrooms. Instant color-coded feedback turns every answer into a small visual lesson.
Three grid sizes grow with the child: 10×10, 12×12, and a full 20×20 on iPad for ambitious learners.
